In recent days, the
managers of the Chinese company have been leaving us various pills of the
Xiaomi Mi 9. First they let us see the design of the terminal through official
images, and later confirmed some of its main features.
Now, the Asian giant
has gone a step further and is sharing images that
confirm much of the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 9.

The Xiaomi Mi 9
features an AMOLED screen with drop type notch, Full HD + resolution, a
screen-to-body ratio of 90.7%, a brightness of 600 units and Corning Gorilla
Glass 6 protection. The panel has dynamic optimization to adjust the brightness
and compensate the range of colors depending on the luminosity and
characteristics of the environment. It also has sunlight mode and reading mode.

The optical
fingerprint reader is located below the panel. According to Xiaomi it is the
5th generation of its FoD (Fingerprint on Display) technology, with an improved
unlock speed of 25%.

In the photographic
section we find a triple camera composed of a Sony IMX586 lens of 48 Mp of
ultra high resolution, with a CMOS sensor of 1/2 "that allows to capture
more light, a telephoto camera of 12 Mp with optical zoom of 2x, through which
it is possible to obtain a bokeh effect, and thirdly, from an ultra wide-angle
camera of 16 Mp, able to capture a view of 117º and to admit macro photography
of 4 cm.The front camera has a lens of 20 Mp.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon
855 processor runs under the hood, although RAM and internal storage
configurations have not yet been revealed. As far as software is concerned, the
Xiaomi Mi 9 will have an Always-on mode with a customizable color screen with
different designs, dynamic wallpaper and dark mode to reduce battery
consumption up to 83%.

In the connectivity
section, the Mi 9 will equip NFC with higher speed thanks to the SN100T chip,
dual frequency GPS for high precision navigation, and infrared signal to
control other electronic devices with the mobile phone.

Although we have few details left
to know, the Xiaomi Mi 9 will be officially presented at the MWC
2019 in Barcelona.
